VIDEO TUTORIAL: How To: Apply Attention

 

Step-by-Step:

If you prefer using the default “Attention Please” message

  1. From the Monitor Tab, click the top half of the Attention button
  2. Click the top half of the button again to release the default plan

To change the default message and send Attention

  1.  From the Monitor Tab, click the drop down menu on the Attention button
  2. Choose Setup Plans
  3. Check the Blank Screens and Display Text option 
  4. Type the custom message you wish to appear on students’ screens
  5. Click OK to send this message to the selected students
  6. Release Attention by clicking the Attention button again

To send Attention to one or more students (but not the whole class)

  1. Select at least one student by clicking on the thumbnail of their screen 
  2. If you would like to select more students, (but not the entire class) after clicking the first thumbnail, select the 'Shift' button on your keyboard and continue clicking additional student thumbnails
  3. Select the 'Attention' button

To lock computer input devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.) without displaying a message

  1. From the Monitor Tab, click the drop down menu on the Attention button
  2. Choose Setup Plans
  3. Check the Lock Input Devices option 
  4. Click OK
  5. Release the lock by clicking the Attention button again
