Will DyKnow Slow Our Network?

No, using DyKnow in a large class (or any size institution) will not cause the network to slow.

DyKnow uses basic Internet traffic (protocol) for sending information across a network. Using DyKnow requires the same amount of network resources as it would take for all the students to browse the web.

When students receive information (for example: a teacher's pen stroke or image on a panel), that information is stored in the computer's cache. Even if the student refreshes the DyKnow client multiple times in a large class, the information is not re-downloaded.
