Co-moderators in DyKnow sessions must be appointed by the primary course instructor before they can moderate a session.
The co-moderator can utilize all the same functionality as the primary instructor including the ability to start and end a DyKnow Vision session. NOTE: The co-moderator can end a class session that was started by the primary instructor and vice versa.
The following is a list of limitations when a primary instructor and co-moderator are in the same DyKnow Vision session.
- Although a co-moderator can start a session with prepared notes, he/she cannot append any prepared notes the primary instructor is already using in the session.
- The primary instructor or co-moderator cannot chose to demonstrate the other's screen in demonstration mode.
- The primary instructor and co-moderator cannot submit panels to each other.
- The primary instructor and co-moderator cannot poll each other.
The only limitation is that the instructor and co-moderator cannot monitor a class simultaneously. The instructor or co-moderator can "steal" this functionality from each other, but only one user can monitor a class at any given time.
