DyKnow Monitor relies on class rosters to know which students should be monitored. Rosters can be imported by a DyKnow Administrator or set up manually. Monitor does not utilize schedules for time of day, but instead relies on teachers starting Monitor for the appropriate class period. For example, a teacher should not Monitor his/her second period class during first period.
Monitor Knows Which Students Should Be MonitoredFollow
This method works because students can only exist in one class per period. However, if conflicts arise teachers are able to steal students from other teachers when necessary. When starting Monitor, teachers are notified of any students on the class roster that are still being monitored by another teacher. Teachers can choose to steal students away if those students are present in class.
