When using Demonstration Mode within DyKnow Vision, some applications may not refresh properly. This happens because some Java applications such as jEdit, do not appear to draw themselves in a way that DyKnow's Demonstration Mode can detect. Because of this, DyKnow's Demonstration Mode will not pick up a visual change in the application and therefore will not send the update to participants.
Currently, the only way to view these applications normally in Demonstration Mode is to force the screen to refresh. This can be done by moving the application window or minimizing and restoring the window.
