For Students: Full Panel Text Tutorial

Follow

Full Panel Text allows you to use the entire panel as a word document.

Getting Started

1. In your notebook, click the Home tab at the top of the page.

2. Click the Full Panel Text icon in the Basic Editing section.

3. You can begin typing, or you have the option to change the alignment of the text, the font, the font size, the line spacing, and the font color. You can also choose to make a bulleted list, a numbered list, or an indentation to the left or right.

4. To exit Full Panel Text mode, click the Exit Text button on the far right side of the Text Editing section.

Tip

Use Full Panel Text when you plan on typing a lot of text (more than a paragraph) on one page. Full Panel Text is also useful when you need to compose something—like a letter—with a specific format. Additionally, your instructor could ask you to submit a short answer response or a small essay through DyKnow, and Full Panel Text would be useful in this case.
