If File Request, Polling, and/or Chat are nonfunctional in DyKnow Monitor 5.7.x, it may be attributed to one of the following reasons.
First, verify that you installed our August 2014 patch. If not, please install the required patch first.
Next, if you installed the patch and still have nonfunctional aforementioned features, verify if you are running DyKnow Monitor 5.7.x without our URL Filtering component (this is not typical but may be your existing configuration in an attempt to avoid conflicts with content filters).
If you do not have our URL Filtering component installed, we recommend deploying a script to student devices to ensure the features are functional. Please contact us for the script or with any additional questions.
